i just want to know more about scientology. it all sounds so cool... must relinquish all previously held religious beliefs and submit my brain to l. ron. hubbard... oh, there's just something really really inherently creepy about initialized first names, too... (um, er... present company excluded if need be... ) but its always bothered me about the guy. took me a while to reconcile the fact that his first name was not, in fact, "elron"

"Tom Cruise is..." -- The correct answer is ... Short. Wanting to hook up with Katie Holmes is certifiably NOT nuts. She was very cute in 'Wonder Boys' (don't think I've ever seen her in anything else). I have no idea what 'Scientology' is or what it teaches -- and don't really think I want to.

I voted: nuts because of Scientology and creepy because of Katie. There's nothing wrong with finding Katie Holmes attractive. She's awfully darn cute. Most males past puberty would probably enjoy "hooking up" with her. But I'm 42, which is how old Tom Cruise is. (Actually, he's about 11 months older than me. I just checked and he'll be 43 on Sunday.) As sweet and cute as Katie Holmes is, I can tell that she's too young to be my wife or girlfriend. But hey, if Tom doesn't think so that's fine. It's just the jumping on the couch thing that seems weird. I don't think I'm creeped out by Tom's interest in Katie. I think I'm more disturbed by the thought of that seemingly nice 26-year-old girl getting tangled up with that nutjob.
