The broken hearted ms shore and her dad arrive in DC on Saturday. She has a 10 day "so you wanna be a dcotor" forum / seminar at George Washington University hospital. She stays in one of the dorms, I'll be staying with my sister in Potomac or MOM in Silver Springs. Anyone know of "anything special" going on in DC from the 18th through the 28th of June?

You can be the first person in the forum to visit the new Museum of the American Indian. Or you can visit the famed 39th Annual Smithsonian Folklife Festival, where persons representing folk cutures both International and American gather on the National Mall of the United States, and ask, "Is DC always this hot?" June 23-27 and June 30-July 4, 2005 Open daily 11 am-5:30 pm Jerry Seinfeld will be at the Kennedy Center. Else, e-mail your favorite Crane Pool Administrator and we'll go find a Rheingold.

Is that the best you can offer? I can offer visitors The War of the Worlds Martian landing site, as well as the final resting place of Elsie the Cow. That doesn't trump much, but it trumps Nils Lofgren.

I don't think it had anything to do with the black belt (3rd degree) , but more of the repeated use of "she"
