Sheesh - I wanted them to sign Santiago back when I thought he'd be a successor to Gary Carter. That was at least 15 years ago.

Anudder thought: If Benny makes the 40 man roster it will have a major impact on Mets lore. No longer will we be able to say that Danny Napoleon is the ugliest player in Mets history. Later
